5 Represent Macon County on Water Council
State Rep. Lynmore James (D-Montezuma), State Senator George Hooks (D-Americus), County Manager Bill Sawyer, Randall Starling & Donald Chase of Oglethorpe are all members of the regional water council. Gov. Perdue & Speaker Glen Richardson & Lt. Gov Casey Cagle appointed the regional councils. Each region there are 10 of them will have a water planning council to represent the water interest unique to their regions. Macon county is the upper Flint-Region.
