It was "Georgia Peanut Farmer Appreciation Day" Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In a show of support to Georgia peanut farmers, Atlanta Motor Speedway partnered with the Georgia Peanut Commission to promote Georgia peanuts during for the Kobalt Tools 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup race. A number of Georgia peanut farmers including a group from Early County and Southwest Georgia participated in pre-race activities.
