Two sheriffs appointed by Gov. Sonny Perdue to the state Board of Corrections have endorsed Perdue’s longtime political enemy, Roy Barnes, in this year’s race for governor. Long County Sheriff Cecil Nobles and Thomas County Sheriff Carlton Powell were among a list of 19 South Georgia sheriffs who publicly endorsed Barnes Monday during a campaign swing through Thomasville.
I got a feeling more Sheriffs will getting behind Roy's Candidacy as well before November.
