State Senator J.B. Powell (D-Blythe)
Reports around $257,730.27 raised
But he only has $4,403.15 on hand.
There was a rumor going around that Powell was interested as a possible candidate for State Agriculture Commissioner earlier in the year. Democrats still don't have a caidndate to run inplace for Terry Coleman, but as of now, Coleman hasn't given any indication on whether or not he will seek the Agriculture Post, being vacated by Tommy Irvin, who will retire later this year. Keep an eye on Powell.
