Vidalia Republican to put up own money for a losing cause against popular Savannah Democrat.
Wayne Mosely (R-Vidalia) according to the Savannah Morning News & The Hill, said he will put up $500,000 of his own money to take on Conservative Democrat John Barrow (D-Savannah), plus he said he will sell some property in order to do so. Now let me say this, why would a republican want to challenge a incumbent who got 66% of the vote in a district that is 44% African-American & that is starting to settle into the district. Mosely is wasting his money & time. But he got to win the republican primary against John Stone of Augusta.
