I'm calling on all Incumbent Democratic State Senators & State Representatives who ar unopposed in the General Election to give money or "Max Out" to candidates running for State Representative & State Senator of their choice.
There are too many incumbent democrats who haven't had a serious challenger in years, if not decades for their seats who are sitting on loads of cash just piling up. Help our democrats, especially rural democrats who may find it difficult to raise money especially in this economic climate in which not too many people are willing to donate to candidates.
My State Senator George Hooks (D-Americus) for example is sitting on a ridiculous sum of $291,000. Do you know he could give at least $5,000 to 10 candidates of his choosing totaling $50,000! OR MORE!
And I call on the DPG & the Democratic House & Senate Caucus to hold a fundraiser to help these candidates, whether they are new or returning candidates running for office once again. The money raised would be divided up among democratic candidates, with candidates in isolated areas of the state getting possibly more getting more due to the lack of donors in his or her district.
The Democratic Party is supposed to be the big tent party, well here's a chance to prove it! DONATE! CONTRIBUTE for a worthy cause!
