Who Else May Step Down from the Legislature

State Rep Terry Barnard (R-Glennville) has only $4,350.00 on hand, which leads me to wonder will Barnard run for re-election to HD 166? The district includes Tattnall, Evans, & a portion of Liberty County.

State Senator Don Thomas (R-Dalton), State Rep Roger Williams (R-Dalton), State Rep Jay Shaw (D-Lakeland), State Rep. Jim Cole (R-Forsyth) & State Rep. Burke Day (R-Tybee Island) have all announced that they will not be seeking another term in the State Legislature.

Who to keep an eye on for possible retirement:

State Rep. Lynmore James (D-Montezuma)

State Senator John Crosby (R-Tifton)

State Rep. Buddy Harden (R-Cordele)

State Rep. James is 50/50 on whether or not he will seek re-election. He's just coming off back surgery & his recovery from that will determine whether or not he will seek re-election to HD 135. The others fate are unknown.
