The state representative for AARP is was among the officials who attended a health reform forum in Waynesboro.
On Aug. 27, State Representative Gloria Frazier (D-Hephzibah), Waynesboro City Councilmen Herman Brown and James "Chick" Jones and former Keysville Mayor Emma Gresham held a town hall meeting at the historic Neely Grove CME Church, 1051 Herman Lodge Blvd., in Waynesboro.
AARP state director Ken Mitchell was among the attendees.
The forum included an educational conference about the proposed healthcare reform bill and Q&A sessions, as well as updates on issues affecting Waynesboro residents. .
This past Saturday, U.S. Representative John Barrow held his Congress on the Corner at the Southern Bank Pavilion on North Liberty Street in Waynesboro.
