Handel & Perdue need to give it up.
Why is Karen Handel , Sonny Perdue & the Georgia GOP so hell-bent on overturning Section 5 of the voting right act? They are going to great lengths to getbrid of a measure that requires states that are under the act get approval from the Justice Dept. from redistricting to voting measures. Is this a way for Handel to get the base behind her for the GOP nomination? Or is this an attempt to divide the state along racial lines when it comes to the voting rights act? Maybe it's to affect Thurbert Baker candidacy. He's running for governor you know? I don't know. If she goes ahead & file a lawsuit, just like the Texas Case, it will not be overturned or it may not get a hearing from the justices.
