Pennsylvania Republican to Switch Parties.
Arlen Spector (R-Pennsylvania) will switch parties & become a democrat says the Washington Post. He will run for re-election in 2010 as a democrat in the democratic primary. I guess he finally figured that there isn't any room for a moderates in the Republican Party, which is going to the fringes of the party on a whole host of issues. They have gone from conservative to Arch-Conservative in my view, I'm talking the National Republicans.
