Ellis Black has been in the State Legislature since 2000. Counties in the district are: Lowndes, Quitman, Echols, & portion of Thomas County. He is a farmer/businessman & he farm & operate Black's fertilizer & farm supply.

To me just my looking at his background, he could run for Agriculture Commissioner in 2010 & win. He's around the same age as Terry Coleman. Should coleman, who I have endorsed for Ag Commissioner in 2010 does not run, I wouldn't mind black running for the post.
